First time I hear that. How do you know that?

That is actually a good question, so far I only experience Blood Moons that were right on spot.

Has someone else noticed a season going for less than 7 days and/or a BM that occurred earlier?

Or has someone on the other hand, also noted only BMs right on the "natural" end of a normal season?

Without someone spoiling what happens to trigger one all you can do it speculate.

They don't happen that often. There are a few paths we can think to see how they occur. Someone summons them, they have a random chance to happen or they happen once a month. Without recording the data to see if there is a pattern you are going to be left with vague answers.

Has anyone noted the seasons on popham to match with provi?

No need to move to ideas.....there isn't any discussion of new ideas other than a post from john. This is a perfect place for it so they trolling and misinformation is not posted1

From what I read, you need a witch to summon the BM, which may fail.
"Witches may cast their spells and to their evil doings to plunge Salem into the horrors of the Blood Moon season." - JC, nubs are in season patch notes
There won't be a BM without a witch casting one, I guess that part can be taken out of the speculations part.
As long as JC has not changed this, which is highly unlikely.
Therefore we can safely assume that Popham and Providence seasons are independent.

The most important questions now are:
- Are seasons fixed in their length, which I boldly assume to be 7 days? (plus downtime, ofc)
- Is there always a visible effect of someone (a witch) trying to cast a BM, like it's getting darker for a moment? And if so,
- is there a special time frame in that a BM needs to be cast? (so you can see at that point if there will be one or not)
- Does a BM occurs at the exact end of a normal season, or is this shifted somehow? My observations so far indicate exact timings.

Do you?

Was there any BM on Popham before there were witches? I guess not.

It was never said that only they can cause them.

What it takes to get the skills for BM wasn't possible on the 1st BM of popham from that I remember. Do you even know what it takes to get to that point?

You probably do not want to have this explained in detail. ¦]
As it would take away quite some of the "mystery" part of Salem.

Hopefully some other pilgrims will share their experience...

So we are past the estimated season change by a decent amount. At 7 days, it was expected to be changing at or approximately Tue Oct 27, 2015 18:19 UTC. This is including the 1 hour downtime for the most recent patch but is not including the downtime of yesterday(at about 1-2hrs) and any other downtime that I'm not aware of. Currently, the time is Wed Oct 28, 2015 10:04 UTC putting us approximately 15 hours past standard suspected spans.

There was at least a 3rd downtime, you can't tell really.
But yes, there should be a season change soon.
