Fact of gaming in general~ if one side can win... damn sure you can too... big time; the risk increases the reward.

Understand that Witches already win big by being in darkness and surviving it's Monsters with ease. It's all the 'light' folks who hurt in darkness that generally get screwed, but if you can succeed, your loot will be that much sweeter..

Yes I understand that, though I am confused by what the reward is for a player like me playing during a blood moon. Seems the only difference is getting blood shards when sifting, which are not all that great. What loot exactly will be that much sweeter during a blood moon?

Sweet is being able to ignore Blood moon and carry on as usual. Are you a noob to hide your head at danger...or can you carry on regardless?

To me that's 'sweet'...witches or others can do whatever.. but I'm still going... and ***** off mechanic... whatever... lol...yeah,, and the same x10

http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Seasons

I made an urn full of blood shards during the last Blood Moon and logged off, just so I'd have a small cache in case they ever give them other uses. I'm a fairly new player, and not a witch, so just using the publicly available information I see no big benefits to playing during Blood Moon.

You could log in and do a gluttony session in your base or something with no fear of dying, but as far as doing labor or foraging, what's the point? Also, your tools can end up getting ruined when you have madness levels. For example: http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Questio ... ve_Pickaxe

You might spend this time to raise up an alt's humors or something. Or take a risk and bank a few Blood Shards. I mean hell, I'll give you some Blood Shards if you really want some. They increase your insanity when used though, from what I've heard.
