Well I live in such "harsh" conditions here in northern Finland that I don't really have much experience on other than Finnish, Swedish and Estonian babes since every other race or culture that lives here long enough to endure the cold weather and cold people usually just move along. On other hand from what I've heard is that Asian people are a hard working bunch so I'd suspect that's a feature that they value. We have a handful of Asian people near here and they all seem to have one thing in common compared to other immigrants: they all work.
