It is complicated, but technically there was no peace treaty after WW2, the former country has never been official resolved, there has never been a german constitution or a technically correct creation of a new country on german territory, it might not look like it, but again, technically, germany is still the US-occupied zone it has been after WW2.

I honestly know nothing of the german gov and don't really want to research but what you just said sounds insane. Are you perhaps wearing a tinfoiled hat or can someone else post on this.

Apparently, this is entirely untrue. Unless you think Wikipedia is lying, which is always possible, I suppose. But I'm going to have to see some proof. This makes it pretty clear that Germany is its own state and has been for decades: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allied-occupied_Germany.

That explains why Germany has gone so long without starting another world war. :)

The Germans, nor anyone else in the region, don't want US troops to leave. At least the governments, anyway. If you got beef with US soldiers being in your country, take it up with your representative government. I bet you get the same response from them that I get from my Senator when I ask about ending prohibition in this country--they just look at you funny wondering what you're talking about.

Hello people of salem
let me give you a small part of the truth
we know that all the governments of the countries lie to their people...... we live in a bad world of murder and criminality lies and fraud world of greed

who that which destroyed the World ???
not religions Islam and Christianity and the Jews are the Abrahamic religions of God
God is great God is not faulting god did not order to kill and destruction
Religions do not order murder

people who are they criminals who destroyed the world
now we have the governments of USA and Russia and China are evil and all the evil governments
Now the world kills for money for oil for the gold

Why now the media focuses on ISIS !!!!!!!!!!
Why only ISIS is terrorism
look at the Middle East look at the terrorism practiced by USA Russia and other arabic governments
look at the bombing Look at the body of children women looked at crime

everyone knows that history is full with revolutions and liberation revolution
there is no revolution with no risks and murders ....

why is not all the revolutions in history not terrorism !!!! ???
why only ISIS terrorism ??

why the evil governments kill people in all world with bombs plans is not terrorism !!!! ???

probably cause isis blows up shopping malls, wholesale slaughters folks on the side of the road and burns people alive all in the course of a casual saturday after they get bored of making youtube videos of simply sawing folks heads off and having their 7 year olds assist in crucifying prisoners all in the name of you being forced to follow their religion.

i do not think a united states (or russian) airstrike that a few civilians accidentally get caught up in because enemy combatants were using the apartment across the hallway as their headquarters quite compares.
