The baskets emptied quickly, but now players are randomly dropping items all over town for the newbies to collect.
Food, boards, nails...

not only today, Marp only gave away a small portion of items and want to give more over the next few days, so its always wort to keep playing

remember, no matter if ur killed or lost all ur stuff theres always reasons to keep playing, if ur new and at providence u should ask other players to help you out with questions or tools, salem is a pretty nice game with a helpfull and nice community (and darwoth)

if other High-Level people want to support this just watch for the next announcment and go to Providence, drop stuff OR just talk to new players and try to answere there questions on Food, Defense, Settling etc.. talking sometimes also helps to make players feel welcome

It is also helpful to build a group of friends with which to trade.
