a break down of weapons

Hello, so this is something i've always wondered. So i always use a sword in my hunting sometimes aided with a slingshot. What i want to know is what are the other weapons like in terms of damage and what effects do they have and applications are useful for them in your opinion?

A club can be very useful. It's fast swinging power can completely stop a hunting animal in its tracks and almost chain stun it. It also increases reel a lot so when the target is reeling from a few swings an uppercut can hit for a high amount. A stomp 3 swings of a club and an uppercut can easily net 30 damage without the animal even being able to attack. Just cant really use them on bears by yourself the growl may kill you. Have used clubs on deer plenty of times and killed them pretty fast that way.

The pole arms are crap in my opinion you just kind of spin in place the attack time is slower and it is just an aoe. Only thing I think I would use a pole arm for is trying to kill a giant bat so that every swing has a potential to get all the other little bats.

Actually club is not so good. Punch and club drain your yb fast, so unless you are buffed on tea I would not recommend hunting with a club.
Best hunting weapons are swords and polearms. Swords have slow but high damage attacks and polearms have much faster attacks that deal decent damage.
I use both sword and halberd depending on game I hunt.

Also don't forget to slot some basic artifacts to your clothing that will benefit your fighting style.

Cool, ty. Seems like swords are still most effective for dealing the best dmg then, i tend to use a slingshot for bears and then let hydurkeys do the rest of the work lol

We all been there But once you get your biles high enough you'll be able to kill most of the game prity fast on your own.

yea my biles currently sit at like 130-141, trying to up them at the moment sadly my gluttons on a 10day debuffer :my penalty for eating 180 devilled beavers
