RIP villages.....

Your remarks and views on the game are only ever from your own perspective and playstyle and experience(never acknowledged) and never give any consideration to anyone else's. I have grown to a place to find your statements repetitive and unworthy of analysis, and I don't like you and hope you marry a non-asian non-girl.

We can stop mentioning insanity and madness in this thread now please.

Strongly considering requesting a cleanup from all this jibber jabber or just requesting this thread be locked, although the event is not over and the waste claim is still active.

Long thread, good read, good drama.

I'm sorry about your village guys. It's a bummer that you guys got hit while in casual mode.

Honestly the lesson's I learned from this is just to let the attacker try and break through and then just fix any damage. I don't know about the YOLO attack on the TbF but it was balls to the wall for sure.

Hopefully the village still stands and you guys were able to get most everything to safety. It sounds like you did. Tell me if you need a place to stay.

I pm'd during the event, but this clearly showed some of the 5 main mega-game-breaking/game-bending mechanics that are still allowed:

1. Donut towns for TbF's.
2. The massive amount of silver received from the stall tax and it's use in PvP actions.
3. How overpowered blow-darts are, especially while attacking defenders of towns.
4. Party Permission raids and how they affect large towns from being able to grow.
5. How the destruction of Townbells mechanic to eliminate Donut TbF's is now being used to take out and conquer whole towns instead.

I don't really know anything about the blow-dart's (since I quit before they were added to the game), but I remember having a conversation with JC about them when he first wanted to implement them. Wouldn't anti-venom negate them making it a non-factor? Just curious

Yup if you got anti venom then there isn't a problem. Come prepared if you are going to fight or don't show up. Cleaty once again has no idea how this game works.

The anti-venoms include the Quetzalcoatl anti-venom and possibly other monster venoms/anti-venom needs. This usually means that a mid-level player has to not only go and kill a Quetzalcoatl simply to be able to compete with someone using Quetzalcoatl darts but also they have to carry ALL types of anti-venoms on them at all times in case of combat. It's too much and is too powerful for use, just like Darwoth showed us here. His much smaller alt was able to KO and keep the much larger L33 with just a simple blowdart attack simply because L33 didn't have all the anti-venoms or the time to drink them.

The biggest problems I have with it are:

1. Players have a minute or less (according to most accounts) to either use all types of anti-venom WHILE IN COMBAT or to get to the anti-venom in their village.

2. Even though dart making leaves a long term scent it's incredibly easy to protect those scents by either making them with a 'Dart alt' in the most protected part of your base or making them in a hovel and then destroying the hovel along with any scents inside it.

4. USING the Darts on another player should leave a Summonable scent along with the long term scents on the Dart making alt. Using a dart on an animal should still not leave a scent.
