learning withcraft

Okay so what I really want to know is from the devs- are there any plans to make witchcraft easier to learn ( i dont mean becoming a witch, i mean after you become one so you know what to do).

From reading etc, i understand the original intention was for people to recieve a doll from a friend, start a coven and learn from the original witch.
However here's the problem people sell dolls for money and don't teach the people they sell too, because its purely business and there is obviously nothing wrong with that.

The result however is a bunch of witches who have the disadvantages of being a witch (cast out into the darkness) and no advantage and no prospect for improving.

This is a problem that I have on one of my characters, as I wanted to learn the witch mechanics etc, but i've found this very difficult. I know you have a shhhhh its very secret policy, but if anyone would contact me and is willing to point me in the right direction this would be really helpful. (the wiki really doesnt help)

You more than likely will not get this information unless you make friends with witches.

either find a witch to mooch information from or experiment like most people that know about the system have done.

If you want to "advance" past only being able to make wands and tearful roses, you're gonna need to be able to kill some of the end game darkness monsters, or have a decent amount of silver lying around.

Witchcraft is meant to be a rare and mysterious thing. I feel the large number of people willing to buy dolls with no way of learning what they need to know is nicely balanced by the difficulty of learning the mechanic without help, resulting in really advanced witches being about as rare as they should be.
