Dry Board Mechanic

Postby Penge567 » Wed Sep 16, 2015 7:34 am

I was wondering if the seasons affected dry board piles? I had 10 timber piles in the everbloom and I didn't get a single moldy board, and in the cold snap, I had 10 timber piles in the same place and nearly half of them came out moldy. Does the weather affect timber piles? I have eight blocks of space around each pile, so I don't think that was the issue.

Mold is random so you most likely just got unlucky.

Ah, that's what I figured. I have a lot of firewood now. Although I'm not sure I should be using moldy boards to fuel my bread oven...

I would advice to use them for choppings but it's up to you.
