How much stuff do you generally carry around?

I seem to always have a bunch of stuff in my inventory. Food, mostly, and a few tools like my axe, club, and fire drills.
Then after finding just a few things I'm nearly encumbered.

I carry plenty, too

Raising yellow bile and a leather backpack helps. Later on you can invest in a fine leather backpack as it reduces lots of weight.

On what exactly is directed your question?

First you should get a toolbelt for your tools. (And Backpacks like the poster obove me said.)
Then it's depended on your doings what you carry in your inventory.
Food will be have the most of us in our inventory.
Other things if you have to craft something, to work something, or to build something.
If you on a foraging tour you will have much different things in your inventory.

If you can't carry as much as you like to carry, you should raise your yellow bile and learn skills like collector, packrat and then hoarder. It helps much for your possible weight that you can carry.
