Meaning people who had placed some of their autho objects OUTSIDE village walls could potentionally have problems, and could have been why you seem so damn butthurt over a game. <-- Bet i have just given JC a good suggestion here.

You skipped an important part - one cannot commit waste on town claim until waste claim is active, and that's your fault.

Regarding OP, for me this is a critical information and I'm very upset to read such things not in Announcements, but in HoB.

Its pretty lame of the developers to do this to its community without a proper warning as they have done with several things before. Many towns have become vulnerable and several game mechanics have become broken or simply do not make sense anymore thanks to this mistake.

I'm tired of their clean-ups and the B/S they feed their community.

as an aside i got no warning of this either, i discovered it while doing the "impossible" raiding you wanted changed to the exact state it is currently. if people did not build defenses that is their problem, it was total ***** that morons like you and your group were able to mindlessly spam authority objects to take position on the tax board without building anything else and to harass newbs with your townbell domaining **** so i am ecstatic that this was changed to how it was in the old days. i remember destroying bells on plymouth three years ago and while jorbtard nerfed it at some point i have always built any towns i cared about properly since then.

dude he mentioned EVERY single small change even when crappy poopy inspirationals gets ground models for dropping.

and yup now he "forgot" to mention the break of the WHOLE Townraiding system and making 100s of towns vulnearable..

i hope this is reverted, i talked to loads of people ingame and everyone is calling bullcrap on this since they would need to rebuild there towns to be not as vulnerable..

Oh yeah, this is exactly what I wanted, I like this ALOT. (Boundary stones perhaps not, but more the merrier)

The problem I do have with this is that it was done without a proper warning, that is simply bold of them, you cannot do that if you want your community to trust you. (Good for me, I have never trusted a word which they have said for a very long time by now).

Funny that in my case, my bells were dead empty so it didn't really mattered regardless of this.

you all must have missed the start of popham and the official launch of the game when all of the developers said that future changes would be more cryptic and the patch notes would not be all inclusive.

guess everyone better go out to break the waste claims and learn to defend for a change instead of sitting in their town and logging off.

this cryptics patch notes should never work for stuff like raid mechanics wich are a crucial and important system for salem its a way to lose trust to the customers.

actually JC has been telling people since last summer that he was going to do "something" to eliminate auth spam and disjointed town claims and for folks to design their bases accordingly without disjoints and **** strewn everywhere, not that it really matters since pretty much every town i have seen is not effected unless you break through all the layers of defense anyway, so pretty much seems like folks pissing and moaning that they feel vulnerable with only ten walls and 1000 braziers instead of the 20 and 2000 they now want to build, sounds like a personal problem.

This is not how a wasteclaim should work, at least this did not work a couple months ago, this mechanic was NEVER announced.

I'm fairly sure he's not lying (in general, excluding this case)
