You do not have to repeat yourself twice within the same post, if I would want to include a very long list of things that are ''broken'' and come-up with some ways to ''fix'' it, I woudn't post it here on the COH. In that case, I would post it in I&I.

I simply want to rise more awareness, we do need changes, sadly most people still have that positive way of thinking and keep bringing up all the good things, which is ofcourse not a very bad thing. However I do feel that by doing that we simply forget what we have lost in the meanwhile.

I have waited months for some changes now, I have monitored the (numbers) for months and its certainly not going uphill, enough reason to talk about it I'd say. That simply means that the recent updates are not working, not even enough to keep the playerbase stable.

That on itself is reason enough to post this, by my standards.

Also you should not post in here if you do not have the temper to stay atleast calm, rage/tears is exactly what I do enjoy the most here, you do not wish to feed me I suppose, but what do I know.

I lost my temper because of the sheer ignorance in your post, regardless if you meant it to be that way or not, its how you came across, literally like some ignorant child pointing and yelling at their parent "FIX IT!" instead of putting in effort and posting something that required more than half a brain cell to say.

I agree with positive change, and by the looks of the Poll that was posted a few weeks ago, it seems that JC is currently looking at redoing some core mechanics in the game, meaning hes already put some time into looking back on what needs to be fixed.

You are simply forgetting that the developers know exactly know what I do want to see changed, that however does not mean that it is the way to go. I have already stated some of my issues several times, it would be stupid to post my opinion even more often than I am already doing. I do admit that I have never came up with a very, very detailed list, made with many people so it would be more reliable.

Perhaps more awareness will lead towards this in the end tho.

Yes, that is some transparent thinking. I have already admitted that implementing one or two of the suggested idea´s might be very good thing to do. That are some changes, exactly what we need. However, I would rather see detailed polls for the players to decide themselves what should be changed or improved.

Games slowly dying out, there just isn't anything new, or worthwhile to make people stay, it's sad because the game is fun, but when you make a new town and build it up just to keep busy, that's when you start to question if it's even worth your time anymore, same with raiding if you can just buy everything, or already own everything worth owning, no point in bashing down someones walls just for another handful of silver, and items. The merit of the thrill just doesn't outweigh the grind.

Changes and new things are planned. We just had a bit of a hiatus recently, can't do nothing but Salem all the time. There will be more patches in the near future.

no matter the idea not everyone is going to agree on it... in fact the most commonly gripped about things are things JC has repeatedly said he will not change.

his poll is in regard to two things that i have rarely heard any one say they had a problem with... i really don't think that gluttony or insperationals are chasing people away.

the things i have heard people grip about for gluttony:
1: not enough recipes
2: fruit is pointless

the things i have heard people grip about for insperationals:
1: foraging doesn't work any more / foraged insperationals are too hard to find.

they added domesticated meat recipes and could easily add fruit recipes so that would take care of gluttony.
and some tweaking to forage mode would help the insperational issue.

the devas know exactly what i want changed also... and have told me to stop posting about those issues.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

TotalyMeow wrote:Changes and new things are planned.

well the changes to gluttny and inspirationals doesn't sound too bad... unless there is hidden things we don't know about yet to "inconvenience" us.
and speaking of inconvenience.... not sure im going to like the water travel change(s)....

Worst possible timing ever with your hiatus.
Why on earth would you abandon a game that just got 'released'?

You gained 4000 players but lost 4500 within a month...
No events planned, requirements on a server linear to the number of 'logged in' players during that timeframe instead of 'played for over 3h/day'.
No official wiki, but instead some half-assed wiki's, broken economy, poor animal implementation, dev interv...
No small updates while other games overshadow salem with a release or big update,...

This all could be fixed if you let the singing frog be hearable for everyone around the person using it !!!

Devs probably having their summer vacation or something, give the guys (and gal) a small break they have been doing tremendously great job so far with the updates and all.
