Why make them so expensive? Don't make it pay to win or pay to glutton. Everything else of value in the game is achievable in game. Why not make some extremely difficult monster or wild farm animals that you have to defeat to get a chance of spawning a baby animal to take home with you?

They're not so expensive! They're available right now on Popham for very reasonable prices and getting them back to Providence is easily achievable. Providence animals aren't going to be just spawning in the wild for you to carry home easily if you fail this quest, that's for sure. What's the point, otherwise?

Does this estimate still stand or are we looking at sooner rather than later?

That's the estimate. wtf?

$250...What a ****** deal. Animals still dying, still cant brand half of them....Forgive me... I donate to the cause, have animals, not as many as some, donate to the Ark, but if the community lost interest in the server, why punish the few that do play royally wasted our time. Think my popham character may have more played time than my providence character.

I can't build the damn thing myself, and forgive me for my complete disconnect on the witch clues...but they beat me lol. Maybe it's my poor bible knowledge. ..damn.

Not to mention, what the hell is up with changing the terms after we started. If its animals only survive if the ark survives, then sobeit, make it attainable. If you want to risk a system disappearing for the game, that's cool. We failed, but this maybe its cash shop, maybe its only the witch is a bunch of bull. Two months in and then you start making the rules?

Well you can be sure if I end the server I wont kill the animals. But I also wont sell any males to anyone. You will have to buy all your gluttony food straight from the stall. :D

The ark is easily attainable. The materials needed to build it are based on the materials being produced over the server. The server is not abandoned, that's just a rumor started by one guy who was having a bad day.

John was trying to encourage you to get your butts in gear on building and loading that ark by implying that you'll have to pay exorbitant amounts to get them otherwise. I say we just make you do it again on the next expedition server along with what we are going to release on that one, or perhaps instead of. Seems to me though, that you'd all have a lot more fun if you just bring animals home now.

But the point is that the general public of Providence should have a FAR harder time getting animals after Popham concludes if the witch ends it before they finish the ark.

OK I LOVE YOU TOO !!!

Vicious cycle/self fulfilling prophecy . People are entirely to blame for Providence being more of the same boring, small beer antics and Darwoth periodically kicking some rube's head in because he's an idiot.

A few people get roughed up in a way they could recover from in Popham and it's suddenly "impossible" and a forgone conclusion. It's like people don't want to really get in any real conflict one way or the other.

I do not agree with most of the crap which came out of your mouth, however it is quite obvious that the devs make the rules and change them for their own play/interest. In my eyes the winners own all the rights of the animals. If they decide to wipe them off, or keep them for themselves, it should always remain their rights. They have won fair & square, the expedition should atleast provide that right, as it had so little point for the people to start there in the first case.

They now do change their initial point of view due to the somewhat abandoned server, a small dissapointment and they do want animals in their game so they are planning to implement it regardless, otherwise their time/idea would perhaps be ruined. Not that I play Popham anymore, it completely killed my interest for Salem, but what further point is there for the people who have invested hunderds of their hours into a temporary server, with very little secure reward in the end. They are sailing into the unknown, with no clear vision of rewards anymore.

Or better yet why don't you make them spawn random in the wild and force people to do a long tedious and annoying process of taming said animals......
