That's interesting, I remember JC said somewhere he does not like alts at all, and getting quite upset when I said he does like alts.


Anyway, alts liking or not, my suggestions are still not bad, are they?
It does not make much sense in any other way.
Your character dies, you may loot his corpse freely, automatically get to own all his bank/postmaster stuff and all claims, but you may NOT use his keys, tell me you say this makes sense!

Sure, if it's possible to code it that way, it's not a bad idea to make keys apply to entire accounts instead of just each character on the account. I don't think that would make bases less secure. If you want this idea to be noticed, go post it in the Ideas section.

If it was the same conversation i am remembering, JC was arguing that those other characters people were using were not alts because they had invested time into them. Basically it was more of an argument over the definition of 'alt' rather than the usage of alts.
