the darkness

how far away from town is the darkness? ive gone about 2 hours one way running most of the time and no darkness just how big is salem??

As i've understood, the fastest way to reach it is to head West from town.
Perhaps get a horse or a Giant Cricket to travel faster towards this.
Also, Salem is pretty friggin big, use/create surveys to see how fast you travel from A to B and then you can get a good idea of how big it is.

Unless you are in a mount it will take you 6-8 hours.
We have landmarks now, pay twice to the west for a cost of 150 silver and it will drop you in an island in the middle of darkness, witches reunite there

wait....how long will it take on a mount...roughly and about these mounts how do i get one??
