I'm not gonna defend or advertise the idea any further, already got two people to help me (one day after this topic was started).
We will see how does it work in-game - if we will manage to finish this stuff.

And yes - many games has such mechanism, but the difference is that mechanism is provided as build-in client/server solution. Some people will use that solution as some people us similar one when its build-in to game .
Whereas it would player company providing the service, twice the fun if you'd ask me.
In case of utter failure I will keep the app for myself and the contributors to ease our trade on forums.

i do not hate or love anything about the idea, simply pointing out that nobody is going to use it, and even if they did the first time someone dumps a large amount of stock on the market for whatever price they want it pretty much undermines the entire system.

if you want to code something for the community to use then a public google type map would do a lot more toward making you a popular fellow than this would.

I don't see how should this broke anything. Are you talking about sell offer with very small price? If there is one supplier with best prices who gets all the offers - I'm okay with that as long he do the delivery on time. Why shouldn't I?

Also, don't just inherently trust anything he says or assume he necessarily speaks for a plurality of the player base. He's very experienced and thoughtful, of course. Recognize him for being the successful, veteran player. He has motivations and priorities that obviously, are his own.

You want to know what people want or would use, do a poll. We have functionality but maybe you know something better. I know some people use websites that provide simple functionality for it.

Since you need silver to pay for goods obtained thanks to the app isn't it easier just put money first on your account and then do the trade, with account silver.
Everything is fluid however and it may be changed - if players won't like it. Point taken.

What 15% do you have in mind? 15% of whole profit of the company?
Or rather you would like to take 15% of value for each particular transaction between client and company? ( I assume this).
Do you realize that this 15% must be payed by the client? Might as well rob them.

Besides, for what exactly, you would like to take 15% value of each transaction? For transport?
What value you could bring into this venture?
How many successful trades did you do? Are you a trusted fellow here? What part of the map you know? Are you able to realize delivery?

Seriously, I won't charge people 15% of transaction, I wouldn't go for such deal so I don't expect that anyone would.
I really would appreciate help but be serious man.
