Stamp Mill, Rubble, & Sterling Geodes

Howdy!

I've tried finding the answer but I haven't been able to sift it out.

If I use a Stamp Mill to crush a Rubble boulder, will I still receive Sterling Geodes or are they "crushed" by the stamp mill?

You must chip boulders yourself to get Geodes, they are lost in stamp mills.
