A couple basic cooking questions...

Is it possible to buy seeds for Bell Peppers to grow them? I've looked around the various player vendors with no luck, (unless I missed them or they were sold out).

What about black pepper? The wiki says its available in Providence but can it be manufactured/grown some way?

You plant the bellpeppers directly into pots, not sure if you need vegetable growing for it, but possibly you do. As for black pepper, it's not obtainable outside of the NPC vendor as far as i know. It's not really that expensive tbh if you're at the point where you really need it en masse.

Ahhh ok, thanks.
There are some recipes I want to try that require black pepper so I figured I'd see if it was available via players or only NPC.

Where do you get the bell peppers? I've never seen one in game.

You get them from other players, try stalls, or the trade-winds forum section. If you still lack one later throw me a PM in a few hours and I'll sell you some. On popham, that is.

Well, that's the most time efficient way, but if you don't care when you get it you could keep an eye out for new world gourds and hope they turn into peppers after you pot them. (It could turn into the "wrong" kind, or it could turn into a pumpkin. I think there might be some chance for another gourd? I forget.)

They aren't super common though, so just buy one. It's much cheaper and time efficient. Go get a cricket team or two to afford it. Or a Savage Charm.

Or three Rabbit Skins. Somebody in the stalls is selling them for about 5 each, unless prices have changed from two weeks ago.

Cash isn't a real problem. I've been selling soap and cricket teams and have a little nest egg built up. :)

You know very well how OP cricket teams are. You had to scam bait into making them for you ¦]

LOL...no, no, not at all.
I'm still a fairly new player and have been busting ass trying to build up some money for the finer things in life. I don't even have my claim fenced. :( In fact, I'm in the process of destroying my first attempt at fence building because I used CTRL to place it.
