Splash Damage

Hello, does anyone know how much a wall need to be from each other to not do any splash damage to any other wall in the near?

I have always heard 5 between, but it is diminishing returns on percent chance so if you are looking for zero chance of damage then leave 10 spaces. I recall 6 is in the 20% range.
