Soil Digging speed?

So I need to do a lot of leveling and decided to get a soil digging set but I am not noticing any difference in the speed. Is there a magic point at which it starts? Is it possible that it does not even work? Assuming I am just not high enough, but figured I would ask. Any input welcome, thanks.

soil diging doesnt work currently as set, but a metal shovel will work at like 1000% speed (atleast for me on clay)

It will not until it's fixed. It's not fixed yet.

Thanks, was not aware it was bugged (or not implemented yet). May actually be working on clay, sure seems to be faster. Hopefully some of that logic could apply to dirt once it is looked at.
