But why is this even possible?
Breaking our defense and destroying our claim would've been fair to us.

Should of made a village claim.

We are on Popham. We didn't even know it was possible and we didn't know someone had this much silver.
Anyway, gg russian people.

It's really your problem for playing in popham where that is an agressive server only for the most hardcore groups. Popham will be destroyed anyway after witches decide to do so. You lived near their village and paid for it. Period.

@Doomer

You shoulnd start on Popham if you dont know enough about game mechanics.
Try to start new on Providence and you will be more happy than on Popham.
But also on Providence it is important to learn how the game works.
And for this it is important that happen such things, because then you learn how to defence yourself.
There are a simple task: If you were raided, you will be on a good way to be a real Salemite.

@LOMS
There are really russian speaking people who don't speak/write one word in english.
For me is it a little bit luck that i can read russian letter. For other player will be this a major hurdle.
I do always reply in english, because this is an english speaking game. (And because i can't write ingame in russian and i can't copy&paste with my client).
But some of russian speaking people deny to answer you, if you dont speak russian.
Thats more than weird, because the most of us are non native english speaking people.
We all effort to speak in the game language except some russian speaking people. I can't understand this.
Why they are playing a game in english with people of all over the world if they have no interest on communication to the other?

What is there to understand? They enjoy the game without the need to bother with another language.
Even if they do speak English (and I think most of them at least understand it), some of them might not have en keyboard installed or just don't wanna bother switching to it. Typing english words in cyrillic has the same result on 99% of people as typing it in straight russian.
Anyway for all of the people complaining about it, you should know your enemy.

Well, one thing you can do is be alert to your area and intrusions into it. New bells are more vulnerable than old ones, and you should have had a T-claim for that. You lose any right to complain if you spent that much money and resources on something that expensive without first considering whether or not it was really safe.

Now you know, and this is probably a painful lesson for you, but it really is all laid out in the wiki and other areas about how this works. If you had a T-claim. This wouldn't have happened. You might have actually caught them early and thrown down a waste claim, too.

It would have went live instantly and allowed you to go and evict them forcibly. (If you could manage it that is. But then, that is not and will never be anyone's fault but your own, if you can't handle punching some goon raiders in the neck, then it's on you.) You would have had an advantage too because of your established claim and defenses that you could readily retreat to regroup and heal at, whereas they wouldn't so much.

Consider this lesson in the School of Hard Knocks over, but expect more in the future. This is a rough game, you will occasionally get rode in hard, and put up wet, whether by other players, or even by simple, innocent deer and other woodland creatures.

Salem: Even the Deer are pretty tough. (Seriously, They are meaner than some upper mid, mid tier mobs in other MMOs. I like that.)
