Well the town is named in russian characters and we know that there are some russian players north-west of our claim so we assume it's them.

You can also earn silver in game. At this stage of the server I can say that they more than likely didn't spend any silver to claim over you.

On a side note, is buying a town bell the only option to prevent this? I see boundry stones there, so it seems to me that they couldn't reach the claimstone with a town bell at first. Can someone trespass in your pclaim without triggering defenses while still on their vclaim and also build a boundry stone on your pclaim if it is also on their vclaim?
