yes. login on your alt and keep him logged in (lift boulder) , login on person who will invite, invite alt and logout, login on alt and accept.

No. Will not send an invitation to a logged out character. Party request works the same.

Tried that first, not working.

Just make an alt on a second account and log both at the sane time. Give invite rights to second alt then have it invite the first. Tbh alts seem more useful on secondary accounts half the time, in case one account needs to stay logged on, or both need to be on at once.
