Humors after 80

Postby rorra » Sat Aug 01, 2015 11:08 pm

I managed to get my humors to 80, mostly eating frogethi, autumn delight, roasted pine nuts, beaver dam, deviled beaver adn garlic stuffed mushroom

thing is that now I have to eat a lot of them go get past 80, and Im able to raise one or two times per day, like I eat and rise them to 81, and them luckly after a few hours I eat again and get them to 82, but its really slow, at this rate Ill be able to get to 200 humors in 6 months.

what would be your advice (those players that are on 200 or even more) in order to get more humors, what food to try to cook, etc.

thx

What is it with people and deviled beaver? :P I mean I use it cause I know I'm lazy and want more punch in my meals, but I'd not recommend it to someone trying to figure out the system. At best it's worth it if you are too lazy to cook a wider variety of food and to spam more restore foods, but other than that for 10 red bellpeppers extra you can just eat beaver dams and some other different food, get a shorter session and generally have a chance to mitigate more of your timer via sugar and spice rolls.

For the lazy:

Deviled beavers : Braized beaver brains (Requires pepper)
Bagjles : French toast (Requires sugar)

If you have big enough farmland with tier'd fields then you can get away with just spamming bagjles upto the 200;s. Or you could always just buy the flour from other players.

I was lazy upto 250~ and used just the 4 foods mentioned above, however my glutton cooldown's were alot longer than most.

Also a Feasting set is a must have, for a few thousand silver im sure you can find a mid tier tailor who will slap together a 400-500 set with great ease for you.

i really dont understand why people use braised brains. its like "omg look, i can waste my time on making beavers brains!!"

isnt it just easier to make nutcrackers with red pepper? it takes less weight and easier to make, also its more cheap to keep game % at 100%

First i corrected your comment, then It Depends if you are activally farming potted plants on a large scale or not. Unless you can find a supplier.

At lower levels it is much easier to make brains, but you are right, once you start to get into the 200-400+ you do need red peppers to micromanage your sessions better. But by this time you are most likely moving more towards the poultery side of foods and not even using deviled beavers any more and are using wild wings for game restore + humor points.

I also hated making nutcracker's.

Thank u a lot for the replies, I will look for a feasting set and I will pay more attention to plant pappers, I don't have second tier fields yet but I will have it by middle of week, and have a lot of pots so I will just make more pots and produce like 40 peppers per day

Honestly anyone under 250 biles should really invest in farming wheat to make bajels and french toast. Those 2 things with a nice glutton set will get you in the 200s in 2/3 sessions depending on your set.

I must be missing something...Poultry? Don't those restores require argo eggs and access to the darkness? Whats the difference in Poultry 3 hour food and deviled beaver? I'm just curious of if the difference is really that great, or worth grinding up those turkeys and stuff. I guess I am doing it wrong

If you have the money/time/resources you could just make a ton of smoked meats, and not even get past a weeks timer even at higher humors, games pretty stupid, and repetitive with gluttony giving diminishing returns with black and yellow humor at higher levels so there's really no point going past about 200-300 unless you plan to do more then just farm, and stick it in your base all day.

Also this game hands out money like candy, so making a bunch of brains isn't really that expensive.
