Peaceful territory

a new territory in game for peace loving players to settle in that want to play the game but dont want to pvp. in this territory you cannot attack other players or commit crimes of waste on other players, however upon leaving the territory you become fair game. basically a new section of the map were players are safe so long as they remain in the territory. you might say its not how the game was intended, however i will say if you want money you should aspire to attract all kinds of players not just the hardcore players who get there kicks out of pvp n stuff. i played the beta it was fun but after a bout of playing just now and working really hard then getting murdered by someone else and loosing all iv worked for i don't want to play this anymore. i understand its written in plain english the game was not meant for the faint of heart however even still a game with fun mechanics like this should not just be for the warmongering pvpers.

No this will never happen. Play on the Providence claim if you want this.

This idea is also terrible because you would be breaking and unbalancing a major part of the game.

We want players who enjoy PvP. If you don't, you're still welcome to play; maybe the game will grow on you, but this is a game meant for a specific niche. A niche where the thrill of surviving longer than others and defeating them in open combat or through clever trickery is more important than being safe.

Yeah, you want somewhere peaceful and safe to gather flowers and even hunt PVE mobs, stay on the Providence claim. You can't actually store anything or use real structures, but it's safe, more or less.

There are also places people are unlikely to find you, and if you don't give people an excuse through a scent or something really stupid, you can live in these places relatively unmolested. And it's not even all about the conventional answers to what is "safe". You have to get a feel for the game and possibly get beaten and mugged/raided a few times before you understand what constitutes safe in terms of a greater geographical region you locate your town or claim in.

You're not meant to be safe like that.
If you want to be safe like that, never leave the tutorial and pray that neither your computer nor the servers ever crash.
Salem offers quite some ways to become as safe as possible, you'll just have to put some effort into it.
Learn Mortar Masonry, join or found a town and build lots of braziers and torchposts.
Expand your village claim so you don't have to leave it to go hunting.

Why would you do anything anymore in this game if it was perfectly safe to do it?
Jesus died for our sins. You should do the same.

You can become safe by setting up some good defenses or join a reliable town. Having to add some sort of ''safe-zone'' ruins the core of this game. It's a sandbox, so go figure.
