why I cannot mine?

I have the mining skills, I built the pile of woods on all the walls and burn it for two hours (I literally filled all the walls with pile of woods and burn it all), and the walls looks like broke but I cannot mine, I was able to just break a few walls that just gave me rubble and nothing else, and not sure why when I click mining on these broken walls it does nothing

nevermind, had to hit on the floor, I was clicking on the wall and nothing happened, when I clicked on the bottom wall it worked

Also, now you don't need to burn fires anymore to dig normal walls.

What is weird is that I don't need to smoke fire at all, I am able to mine ore without using piles of wood

you will run into 'black' walls that require fires to break then so you can mine. It will be easy to notice them.
