If I understand correctly and this is a request only for for mechanics working differently based on day, I guess we already have such a thing on a weekly basis. The season change is exactly that, and while mostly predictable time wise it still requires planning around it. Will leave it up to the devs wether they think small tweaks in drop rates and monster stats etc etc on a random rotation would be an interesting feature. Although if I were to point at a different game's feature I'd rather go with some HoMM :p Could have a high chance for the default "nothinghappens" day, and occasionally the local priest goes "Hm, the savages mentioned that this is one of their sacred days of the bear. Those fools believe that the bear spirit empowers all bears with strength and speed on this day, HAH, as if anyone but the LORD would have such an ability." But again I leave it up to the devs to decide wether such a thing would be required, fun, too hard to core or any and all combinations of the above.
