Old player all characters gone

Is there a link somewhere that addresses old characters , past purchases and the such? All of my characters are gone, the $300 or so I put towards starter packs a year or so back are gone. Is there compensation for this or a way to get my characters back? They was listed on my profile until I logged in and made a character. Now they are no longer listed.

when did you stop playing? Another company bought salem right after providence was created

Does it matter when I stopped playing? Because I don't know its been awhile. I brought some friends over to Salem today and was hoping to get everyone settled in. But this is holding us up. Is there an official response somewhere about old characters or something? Was they all wiped or did people get to keep there characters?

Honestly a little compensation would be nice, if another company bought this then I can understand but damn $300 gone. I cant help but be a little put off on buying any packs if this is going to happen. 4-5 other guys sitting waiting to decide if its worth it as well.

well, actually it does matter, if you stopped playing before providence, well then its gone poof cant do **** about it.

if you stopped after providence high chance you got looted and keeled maybe.

That looks like it was Roanoke which is gone - server no longer exists.

I was searching for the thread where providence was announced, but every character was wiped with the promise of Providence being the permanent server it has been for a year and a half and expeditions like popham being temporal servers.

If i remember correctly official response was that everything you bought in the store you bought it to Paradox Interactive and Seatribe. not to the current owners of the game Mortal moments.

Please take his join date in consideration, based on that he played on Either Jamestown, Raonoke or Plymouth and therefore all his characters have been wiped for sure.

There has been a wipe around 17 months ago for several reasons, almost everything you had will be gone except store purchases you had made, those will be in your mailbox once again.

I absolutely do feel your anger, especially since Jorb & Lofter said years ago that a wipe would be very unlikely (thats the least, I even think they said that they woudn't wipe ever at all).
