Actually the chapter and verse is from the original King James version hopefully because if they did use the American King James it's different in some important parts and changes the clue's meaning in other parts. The American version is from a 19th century translation.

It has 'Saith' in the clue instead of 'Said' so I think they're using the original.

Can we get confirmation that the dev's used the 'Original King James' version and not the 'American King James' version?

Well it matters a lot. The different versions of the bible translate the Isaiah passage including 'Bittern' as Bittern, Heron, Owl, Hedgehog and Porcupine and they do it in the other passages as well. Does it mean we have to seek out the grass lands of Hedgehogs, the forests of the Porcupines or the swamp lands land of Herons?

Words matter Dallane.

Edit: Why aren't porcupines in the game yet?

Are any of those animals in the game yet? That'd be cool if they were.

And as a freebie he missed out on Beaver, although I don't know how many beavers really lived around Babylon. But that's a meaning of bittern in middle english.

I didn't really give it much thought, I'll try and avoid that in the future.
