"Personal street stall" - opens a small personal shop, can be placed on city streets, the character gets busy while selling their belongings, and can not perform another task until you close your bankroll, but no status is caused to the player (madness for example) while it is selling.
"Giant backpack" - 35 spaces reduces 70% of weight (perhaps some changes in status if exaggerated)

No pay 2 win, no pay 2 progress faster & especially no instant endgame-skills. (why can't we buy lucky yet, why can't we buy fine leathercraft,...???)
Wonder why people try out the game & leave after 2 days/1 week?
Don't come up with excuses because Popham is a good example.
Don't have money to buy silver & memento mori's? Too bad .. You won't be able to compete with the ones who did pay. You'll never win the server unless you play 24/7 for a month (or 2)!!
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it, but the dozens of people that I tried getting to this game all disliked this aspect a lot.
IF we need more items in the shop, it would be couches, carpets, MASKS MASKS MASKS!!!!, more hats, more capes, clothing, paint, wallpaper, decoratives, skins, unique haircolors, unique faces, non-combat pets, unique houses, mounts, decorative flowers & tree's,....

On a more serious note, while I'd be in favor of street sellers, this should come with cons or otherwise it will flood Providence and no one will be able to take a walk in the capital due to the overcrowding of ****** sellers selling acorns for 50s/u. People would be forced to buy all their products to remove them and they would return once more. True, it would be limited by the price of the item on the cash shop but I have no doubt that it would happen anyway.
What I would suggest:
- Create a market area with emplacements (100 or so) that can be rented for Xsilver/hour. That would force players to actually trade intelligently and with agreeable prices.
- Limit the emplacements further by only allowing one character in the market per account. Most people have multi account so it won't suffice but at least it will **** them off to have to relog on a different account.
- Further limitations by limiting one account to be able to rent an emplacement only once per season. The market could also be closed during cold snaps and definitely should be closed during blood moon. In essence, only open during evergreen.
- Immunity for sellers to: Witchcraft, pushing, diseases, etc. This immunity only last 12 hours after the emplacement has been rented. This will not provide immunity to already existing debuffs! Only prevents the character from being infected/cursed, etc.
- An emplacement can only be rented for 24 hours max.
- At the end of the rent, the character will return home with all the money he has acquired minus all the items he hasn't managed to sold. In addition to force the players to propose decent prices or even prices that would defeat any concurrence, it would also prevent people from basically renting a free safe for 24 hours for their most valuable.
- An emplacement could be used to buy stuff! You propose a price and people can sell it there (but I guess JC would never agree to that). When the rent ends the player goes home with the objects he has bought.
- People could have rebate on the price of the emplacements through a RNG dependent of their Law and Lore akin to how the Town Bell works.
- Or people could have rebate on the price of the emplacements through their affluence gear.
I think that would make that idea a fairly balanced one without requiring store purchase.
I hope you like my idea. What do you think?![]()
