Are there actually sane people in salem

The Forums are not a place to go for sane interactions. They are Drama and Trolling outside of any section other than "Help" "Trading" and most of the recruitment section. Find a group and make friends there. The forums are generally not a place of that.

You may want to review where trolling is allow and isn't.

I dont think an enumerated list is nessisary to get my point across. As you point out, its already in the rules section.

When you are listing things that are allowed to be trolled and are indeed trolled then you are not making any point at all. Even in those non trolling subs it still hasppens.

you see how the forum works. There are Mods and Devs who need Drama and Trolling and also derailing, but never dereil them!
The Game Community have to be insane, it is the first rule of salem.
The Second, if your are sane then look to things that give you more chances to become insane.

But dont worry, there are some "normal" people outside.
There are also people who are honest, smart and nice.

And this thing with the Glücksbärchis is like this with "fanbois" and "haters"... just definitions which be used by people without social competence.

Well also, "The squeeky wheel gets the grease". You hear a lot from a vocal and sometimes pugnacious minority, and they get a lot of attention in general because of it, but there are clearly more than just that small, but loud circle. A lot of people don't have problems or say much on the forums, and there are long term, very competent and nice players I know that watch more than they say. And some that are long term, and nice -to the people they play with- they will kill you as soon as look at you in game but it's not like it's to be trollish or because they are sociopaths, they just want stuff. They are well adjusted, nice people if you talk to them on Skype or chat. Just ones playing an antagonistic game as part of an antagonistic group.

And one that maybe has a whole "Melian Dialogue" dilemma going on if they normally aren't mean. You can't discount that. If you are a smaller party that doesn't want trouble, well, your very existence means you will have to deal with them because they have to deal with you. You will help them, hinder them, or get the hell out of the way. You might not have the option of being neutral with some people. They won't give you that courtesy.
