Solo player looking for company

Hey all,

I prefer to build my own homestead - but like the idea of doing it near others also building their own homesteads so I thought I'd drop a line on the forums and see if there were any others on the Providence server interested in similar. I'm very new player (started yesterday) - but I did play extensively when the game was first released. Still trying to learn what has all changed, etc.

Particularly for me, I like doing things for myself, but having the chatter and general helpfulness that can happen when you have friendly neighbors. If anyone is interested in starting something like that, please PM me here on the forums or you can reply to this thread. I'm _not_ interested in joining a town per se, as I said, I do enjoy doing things for myself and in my own time - but very open to trading and helping out with friendly community and living in close proximity to other players who enjoy building and grinding (I'm not big into the PvP aspects).

Okay, so now I need to figure out how we all get together - I haven't picked a permanent location at all yet - just have a lean-to and a few items so far. So maybe we could all meet up in town and then go wandering for a place to set up homesteads near each other or something? Unless one of you already has a location picked out. I did receive a private message re: this thread today saying I should be cautious - that some people might use it to grief or kill me - so I will be cautious - but frankly I have nothing worth stressing over at this point - and no silver, leather or other "valuables" that make me interesting other than a boredom and "look I killed me another newbie" type interest.

Anyway, anyone have suggestions as to how we might all gather together? Or should we just set up a time to hook up in town and go from there? Let me know.

What is a "TS3"? Sorry, not sure what that is referring to? A dedicated server? An IP address?
