I don't think these themes fit particularly well with Salem.

Indeed, i do not think there were references to werewolves or vampires in Salem (unlike other things, like black cats and spell books... *ahem*) :D

This seems like two half-hearted variations of the witch path system to be honest…

I much rather have a fully fleshed out clergy path then that would offer mysterious abilities and mechanisms built around themes such as saints, crusaders, inquisition and exorcising (and could similarly like witches be exempt from inheritance from tier 2 due to them having made chastity pledges). There's a lot of room for features around this as the clergy throughout time have done a lot of questionable things too, including developing advanced torture methods to deal with Witches. I feel things like this would fit Salems theme a lot better too than adopting abused and overused pop-culture fiction.

Also, the best tear-cocktail in my opinion is one that is a perfect 50-50 mix of care-bear and sadist player tears. OPs idea come off as something that would be a field day for salems sadists, and be pure care-bear tears. I personally consider that bad game design as it would be terribly unbalanced.
