That would have saved me the googling and calculating. At least writing up the GMT+/- equivalent in brackets could help.

If anything, though, since the liberal travesty that is DST was introduced, UTC should be used in preference to GMT, mostly because I find the latter can easily be confused with the localized time in London (but also because they are technically different, and it is UTC that everyone actually uses).
