Tracking being weird?

Postby MrJet » Wed Jul 01, 2015 11:57 am

Ok so someone rummaged through my home and stole some stuff off me.
I'm trying to track him down and I've been going for a fair while now to the point where I seem to have started sailing across either a very large lake or a small ocean.

Was trying to track this guy down a bad idea?
Just who rides a giant grasshopper anyways?

Depends what are you planning to do after you find him. Are you going to TBC him? Ambush him when he's travelling in the wilderness? Sell his location and scents to other people? Attack his base? If yes, then it may be a good idea. If not then I guess you're wasting your time

Someone who combs the map for unprotected leantos whose owners have nice goodies (like apothecary masks)

Well. This is insane. The guy must have travelled clean across the game world just to rob me.

Had to give up on tracking him down. The distances involved were clearly ludicrous.
Plus my general lack of a plan.

Selling his scents though? Interesting idea.

He probably picked clean many other leantos on the way. You are just one of the many victims of the inability to protect your leanto

Wasn't a leanto.
Was my dam hovel.

And I know how he got in. There was a hole in my fence from a while back I'd been too lazy to fix and make a new gate with lock for. Primarily because my neighbours are good and decent folk.
Well I have rectified that.

It's next to a river with 1 mine entrance outside and 2 in it. Half of the fencing is a wooden plank fence.
