Radish / Onion on Popham?

Hello,

Does anyone know if Radish / Onions are some sort of a rare spawn?

Someone on popham is selling both on a stall and I'm wondering how they managed to have both. Looking at the wiki, both seem to have been either a season item or some player event reward?

Or would this be a store bought type of special?
