She was literally planting AS she gained insanity. Planted about 10 then pop, insanity level. Seems odd if planting decreases points. I witnessed this. Wonder if its an issue of timing. Perhaps her most recent actions not calculated in a future insanity tick or something .

Hookah? Picking flowers? Chasing butterflies? Before you try everything, don't assume, or state your wrongly concluded opinion.

I think with just change one thing to keep everyone happy.

What changed?
1. Add another toy that will be easily accessible for new players, this toy reduce 1 madness per 8 hours
conditions for reduce 1 madness:
- chance 75%
- madness level must be less 5 ( madness < 5, madness <= 4)
- must sleep in bed (8h)

2. Change Teddy Bear (is middle/top player item...) from 8h -> 4h and
- chance 75%
- madness level must be less 5 ( madness < 5, madness <= 4)
- must sleep in bed (4h)

if have madness > 4 ( madness >= 5)
only Tabaco
\(*o*)\ Praying in the Marp Church may reduce the time for update /(*o*)/

Funny because it was stated several times that shop items won't destroy because no items destroy in their category...

Actually it was stated just the opposite.
As if I care.

The point is, it would make sense had I been doing any of the actions that increase insanity. Last I checked, using a bugle, studying inspirationals, and potting flowers do not add to insanity. Before that I was planting/harvesting crops while as usual doing the easy things like using a bugle, studying inspirationals as I have been since shortly after insanity was implemented. Any time I do something such as pull a salamander tail, I make sure to do SEVERAL extra actions to lower insanity. I don't feed my turkeys turkeys, I don't wring turkey necks, etc. etc. I sleep in a bed each night as well. I had not done any of the insanity increasing actions in days.

It simply makes me wonder if reductions or the natural increase of insanity was slightly tweaked.
As if I care.

Stop double posting already!

Besides, It's highly unlikely any of the store tools can get destroyed by madness.

If there's to be a toy that is easier to obtain than a teddybear (you can get if from crappy meals now even, I'll guess I try to figure out drop ratio and add it to the wiki later), then it should definitively be 16h sleep requirement (Cat doll maybe, because cats need 16h sleep haha), maybe even also have wear. 8h for the Teddybear is a modest requirement, it shouldn't be lower.

JC already confirmed they can't.
