Upkeep

How can in this game can a feild be at 50.4 upkeep? When i do the woodchips for upkeep i add untill i cant add always takes 2 or 3 and i check to make sure it say 50%. How can it be more if i cant add more woodchips?

Thats good and all but im trying to figure out why i needed 3 humus. I was told my feild were at something like 50.4 upkeep. Im wondering how this is possible.

You must not have added the maximum number of wood chips last time.

Maybe though im 99.9% sure i did. Ive been farming a while and never had this happen. See what happens next go because im 100% sure i did this time
