What would be the easiest way to get a granite? Granite Scavation perk will take me forever, but I need one single granite to build a tool

Granite can be found in multiple biomes such as Grasslands, Badlands, Coniferous, Autumnal forest etc. Just turn on Foraging/Hiking and walk around

Another way to get granite is to find a natural granite boulder and chip from it

look at your minimap when your walking a round there really common in crage biome
oso the bolder im sitting on thats a granite bolder u can find them randomly in the world ...agen more common in a crage biome

Found a lot of lime but not granite yet

i found that granite become more rare than other common resources even in crag and with forage move also... i guess we need granite buff i almost used all my granite boulders 10min walk around base...

The crag biomes are usually too small to be significant forage locations. Badlands have same rate of granite as a Crag, but is a much larger biome, which means it's usually a guarantee that you'll find granite as you explore it.

With my mines and mountains level and the perk, i get about 1:1 ratio with granite / stone boulders from a quarry. Its really good now.
