Major improvements. Didn't like it at the start. Enjoyable grind, lots of stuff to learn. Intend to learn more and then join a village. Will probably spend money.

How much is there to gain if I spend money? I get the impression that buying items and then selling for silver is much more effective than directly buying silver from the store. What packs can be sold for the most per dollar spent?

It all depends. Lets say you back a pack and sell it on forums. Someone pms you meets you and scams you. Then the silver from store wouldve been better no?

Silver on popham is more valuable than on Providence.

The question about gain if you spend money. Well depends how much you spend and what you spend it on. Tools save time, Time is money. Claiming things so it dosnt get stolen.

Basically it just hastens the grind a bit. A veteran player will still outdo you even if you spend ridicolous amounts of real life dollars on the store.

At worst you lose it within 5minutes of retrieving your package from postmaster.

There is no secure trade as such. But look in the Trade section of the forum and find an honest and trustworthy trader to either sell to or act as a go-between. There are a number of them, just read their threads.

I can vouch that alloin probably won't scam you. He's a major player and major trader. You can trust him not to screw you in a trade but he'll probably use that momento mori to kill one of your alts in the game 3 months after you traded it to him.
