For the love of God

I will not be returning to Salem, as my friends and I had hoped for because one single game mechanic pvp. It takes way too long to build defensive structures, and you will most likely be killed by someone who has been playing longer than you anyways. This has killed this game for me and my friends. You can call me a nub/noob/puss, but seriously how do you expect to prove yourself if you are killing new challengers like mudcrabs. I have always had and will continue to have high hopes for this game, but there is no way I will waste 30+ hours of my life building a wall only to be one hit KO'd every single time. Anyways goodluck on the game and I hope one day you wake up from the elitest peer pressure so my friends and I can play the hell out of this game.

Sounds like somebody made a poor decision on placement of his homestead and decided that it's the game's fault :(

Playing on Providence solve most of your problem. the map is 10 hours walking, the people are scare as of now, the PvPers are not in town. By the time they're back, your base have been safe. on Providence, walls are OP. No one can 1 hit KO you, if your braziers shoot them down first.
Anyway. So long, friend.
You thought I quit.

First death I ever experienced was just a few months ago, check my join date. You never have to pvp if you can get political.

And not to be an outright douche, but what part of permadeath full loot pvp, confused you when you first signed up? You can't play fallout and get mad when you get radiation poisioning, you know the whole world is irradiated before you even get out of the vault.

It takes approx 2-3 bb tanks and 2 chars with at least 400-500 pleghm bashing your door even with that it'll be along while before they can even break in, that's also not counting all the times they have to run out and let tea heal them among other factors like how many braziers, and torchposts are shooting the tanks, and how many crits the person has taken, or if you are actively defending
.
99% of Salem's Providence will leave you alone if you do this.

If you are fast enough you can inherit before you are scalped.
