How to start same place as friend

Hello, as the title ask how do I start @ the same place as my friend. We kinda wanna build together

Have one of you go out into the wilderness and find a good spot, craft a "new world survey", build a lean to, claim it, teleport to providence and give the map to your friend. Your friend can turn it into the two people by the wagon next to the church and they'll teleport him to the spot on the map. The spot is where ever you're standing when the map is crafted.

You need to make a map and give it to him

He then needs to give that map to these people:



Right click one of the two men and your friends cursor will change from a hand to a cross. He then clicks the map and he will be ported to you. Make sure he makes a leanto first thing and make sure the map is not on claimed land or it will not work
