I think the small map, statues, and server-wide goals are going have some repercussions most of you haven't thought through yet. You have 1.5 days left to prepare!

I am pondering one of two activities. Either I have my first actual go at PvP and try to see how many pilgrims I can eat before someone murders me .... or I chicken out and join a lovely community and kill some time furthering their cause while enjoying the inexistant safety of their town to afk in when not killing time.

I note that nobody has stated either of the 2 obvious choices ... make witch, pray for the end of days ... kill witches, build fort, protect the world from witchy end of days.

With faction choices not being apparent, and a total lack of cooperation, I can't help but feel that first expedition will be rather short

Faction choices? Factions have been set up and getting ready for this for a good while now, they just have little need to bring in any outside players. I also know a few groups that have joined up and formed aliences which should lead to some very intresting political dynamics.

As for the server being over quickly? JC has said that 3 months is likely the soonest the server can end considering the witch needs to be level 3, though we all know how certain players like to exceed expectations so I would guess 2 months would be the soonest the server will end if non of the statues get protected - which is unlikely to happen with at least 2, maybe 3 of the statues considering the bonuses they give.
