If you dislike a service try switching providers. Gmail offers a rather add free experience.
I'm rather sure you can get all your old account's incoming mail auto forwarded to a new email as well.

thanks for the unsolicited tip asswipe, i was not referring to email.

This is indeed old news, the major buzz happened ~2 months ago, there were tv shows and all that. The guy who's getting a new body is from my town, surgery is planned on 2017, now he's going to US to meet the doctor.

What's the point then, if the patient will get such terrible quality of life?

Well my first thought on this question is to highlight the objectives in that sentence ... patient and life ... an otherwise dead patient has no chance at any future, whereas a patient with life has a chance at a future, even if it's dim for the foreseeable part of that future ...

Some things are worse than death. And yeah, heartbeat, breathing, digestion (well, not really, he'd likely be fed by IV) and other basic functions would all have to be handled by machines.

Oh I agree completely, but not everyone feels the same way about life and death. But then again, I plan on having my conscious mind embedded into the web when I'm on my way out, so I'll be avoiding head transplants myself.
