Also, there was monkey head transplantation, which wasn't "true" too. That was a monkey head, plugged to other monkey body instead it's original head and reanimated. Creature lived for a month or two, can't remember exactly. Head hadn't control over it's new body because neural canal wasn't regenerated. So head could blink, chew and that's all.
