Okay, so you've never been on the test server. Fine.

I think being on the test server and testing new stuff is fine but I'd prefer that it not be people heavily involved in political PvP because all it does is lead to charges of "He was able to test it for months before using it on us."

I think a lot of players need to know and want to know things like this:

reverse larceny is intended?

poison dart stacking and combo's are intended?

stolen keys to lock people in under Waste claims is intended?

Tbell donut waste claims that you have to waste claim to destroy are intended?

I disagree with the dev's about these mechanics being good for the game but if that's how they want their game to function so be it. I'll still play.

man, what the ***** is your problem?

As for the other questions, why are you asking us? Most of this is just you not understanding the mechanics.

I checked. None of the Expedition questions have been answered yet.

As for misunderstanding the mechanics, I don't think it's that. I just want to know if those are intended aspects of the mechanics. I don't think larceny of keys should lead to death through another mechanic. I'm just wondering if you guys intend to keep that in there and I also want to warn players who don't know this stuff.

What mechanic is it that allowed Darwoth to appear inside a town where the walls were intact, the mines were walled in and he had no perms?

Poison Dart combo's are intended?

Reverse larceny is intended?

Can I at least get a few answers?

I'll gladly move my questions about the expedition if you want.

JohnCarver wrote:Everything you are concerned about is working as intended.

I'm fairly sure it was explained to you on a livestream today from an ex-Helmsdeep member that it was their own town that let Darwoth in.

Someone let a different alt in that they kicked back after he tried for Bankee, not the one with the darts that killed the 2 guys. There were 2 different guys inside somehow.

So this is confirmation that:

reverse larceny is intended.

poison dart stacking and combo's are intended.

stolen keys to lock people in under Waste claims is intended.

donut waste claims that you have to waste claim to destroy are intended.

Is that right?

typical liberal ***** in action. asks a question, gets an answer, if he does not like the answer he continues asking endlessly hoping to get a different one.

Maybe I just can't believe these are intended parts of the mechanics. I don't know.

I copied and pasted the last one in because the edit was buried and I was worried JC didn't see it.

I feel like this thread is a result of butthurt..

Someones town got raided and your looking for something to point fingers at, methinks. But lets take a swing here anyway, just for ***** n giggles.

Poison Darts during Bloodmoon are to OP?
Hahahahahaha, tough ****?

Stealing keys is abuse?
What happens if you lose your keys in real life? or if they are stolen? Your *****, you don't magically have the power to unlock your door just because its unfair that YOU didn't safeguard your keys.

Sneaking items into a village for a raid?
Seems like a legit tactic, your own fault for letting someone get past the walls in the first place, dealwithit.gifv

Someone getting access to the Test Server so they can learn new tactics before everyone else?
Doubt it, JC might be troll, but he wouldn't allow that sort of advantage to be gained by any one person illegitimately.

Just my thoughts.. Remember, this is Salem.. the game is rigged against you, always.

First off, none of this has to do with anyplace I live. I'm only interested in the mechanics.

It's not just that Darts may be op during Bloodmoon. It's also that there may be a poison, sleep, poison, etc...combo that keeps someone down.

If you have your keys stolen with no other exit under a Waste Claim you can't port or leave, ever.

Absolutely, sneaking into a town is a legit tactic. This character that was in there though was unknown to anyone. He was behind the walls and had no perms or citizenship. How did he get there.

It's possible someone else let him in but everyone lost everything so I doubt they did. It's possible that he was able to get a second alt into the town when they let the one in to trap Bankee but before the poison darts and then he used reverse larceny to get the character a blow gun, darts and the inspi's to get the skill. I just want JC to check to make sure it's not another wall jump bug. If he says it's legit then fine.

Many players have had access to the test server. It could be abused to learn mechanics before someone else. I thought Darwoth had access to it but apparently he never used it.
