2-3 times 'do' next Crtl+E and
click alt+left click... and drop this item :f

right click on your character and select resit itch. wait around until it happens again and do the same thing. Then open your inventory and try to ctr-click those britches to drop them. if it still won't let you, wait, resit itch and then try dropping them again.
