Good point, seems to just be a low cost inspirational, might have some hidden feature, but who's to say might just be a cheapie insp through, and through.

Ran across this today as well. Found it does not seem that special. The first one I was like "Oh My GOD what is this!!!" then I found another right after and then another. After collecting 5 I said well study this ever few minutes and I wont go insane....

It is hard to see on the mini map. But by what I noticed today. Not a rare just only shows up in biomes with all red flooring and maple trees.

It's actually not a consumable jelly it's more called that due to the gelatinous nature of it, iirc it's late 1300's when it was first discovered, and it could possibly be for witch craft since there have been myths about its origins,also some people having said it came from space, but in modern times it seems it's just a fancy name for frog goop.

So it's probably just a low cost inspirational, possibly witchcraft usage.
Also it's not a rare forageable.
