Hey guys.

There is a bit of a settlement going on in my area which you would be welcome to join; I'm 29 and from New Zealand so of a similar age and timezone. Our group is somewhat diverse at the moment, ranging from NZ to the States to Israel, with 6 people currently in the area (3 of us fairly well established, 2 friends of mine living off my claim in lean-tos for the moment, and another new arrival who has prior experience living on the claim of the guy from Israel at the moment).
We don't have a town bell, just a collection of individual claims thus far, but if I understand things correctly re: Town Bells, I'm not sure that there is a huge incentive to get them. I'm a fairly new player myself -- started when the new servers opened, I had a key back in April but was busy and utterly forgot I had it til the second keys came last week -- so I could very well be missing something about the bells, but I believe they don't particularly add any value yet require a silver upkeep?
In any case, I wander. Our area is pretty good, but nothing amazing. We're close to water, forests of two different types and grassland. I've seen some stone quarriable areas nearby, but nothing more fancy than that yet. We have a guy picking up prospecting soon though to see what we can find in terms of that soon.
Not sure how many people a single area in game can realistically sustain yet without becoming a foresting clearing operation..

..But I'm sure we could take on a few friends across the ditch without incident.
