The only problem is that the developers here are the jury and the judges and they made a ruling.

Yet you and others still continue to argue against it.

Who now has the problem? Ignorant much?

Not sure if anyone has a problem. The server is down and I'm bored. You may rage as much as you want. One developer as far as I know chimed in using the loose term of being "logged in" incorrectly. I would expect if they were directly asked, they would concur that being logged in, and having an NPC of your character in the world, are different events. It would be illogical to say they were the same event.

I love people who say "you rage" and such. Are you going to start saying calm down next?, as i sit back sipping my coffee laughing over this whole subject as well.

If i said to you "your character is logged in", you would panic and know extaclly what i was saying. (been summoned / killed / in stocks)

As mentioned, understanding and wording are different, we all know what was being asked. The devs chimed in and confirmed Heff lost, trying to fall back on wording after the judgement has been made is irrelevant. You need to either find a new judge or get them to change their ruling. FYI, neither are going to happen.

I don't think anyone really cares about the ruling we're just arguing semantics, its completely theoretical and wont change the outcome at all. Its pretty simple really, if Heff wanted to argue it he would be in here arguing it but he is not. He doesn't care either way really and probably wont pay the bet. I know I wouldn't, because if you go over the original and this thread he never once wrote yes I agree to your terms. I think that was just assumed. :)

You show your state of mind when you quote me saying "you rage" when I actually said that you may rage as much as you want.

Indeed, if you told me my character was logged in, I would know you mean I was in game. That is because gaming as a whole has not yet seen enough of a persistent-state game with persistent characters to understand how to use the term "vextion". In the future, you may tell me that my character is vextioned, and I will understand what you mean MUCH more accurately than "logged in". Because in all honestly, by telling me my character is logged in, I may suspect my account is hacked first, before knowing that you mean my character is in vextion.

Exactly. I give two turkey droppings of all this. I don't think anyone expects anyone to pay up =) But it is good to see the forums active like this as I once lurked through quite a bit of it, and it seems to have died down a bit as I read old threads.
